No Slumdog for Sammy!

So…I ended up going to Cheeburger Cheeburger with everyone instead of Slumdog. Though, I can’t say I was displeased. The burger was amazing (though the amount of meat and stuff is a little crazy — it’s heart attack on a plate). Out of the 17 kids who went, 2 didn’t get the pounder (me and Stefan), one couldn’t finish (Alex Ching), and one threw up after eating it all (Changa, haha). So yeah, it was still pretty damn epic. Getting there and getting back was epic too; all three cars got lost initially, mine being the last to arrive because one of the tires went sort of flat and we were skidding when we went 60mph or higher. We went in one huge circle like four times too. Stefan was my navigator…uhhh. Haha. Good job! Oh and getting back, “We turned left coming in, we should turn right!” *We turn right and head 10 minutes in the wrong direction, passing cars (legally) and trying to get to school in time for the other kids not to miss the late bus.* Didn’t really happen the way it was supposed to… Apologized to Bassel and Ann for missing out on editing :D but it was definitely worth it, I mean come on they can hardly blame me for going to Cheeburger instead of sitting there editing…

Started reading up on facebook development.

School was uneventful. I felt really bad because today was the last day of editing and throughout this week I think I’ve edited a grand total of three times (fourty minutes each, so that’s about 2 hours worth of solid work). One time this week was spent sitting there doing basically nothing. So yeah. 2 hours is still pretty good though.

I think I did well on the math test; I know I got the last question wrong but I checked for the rest and I have them right so that’s at least a 7/8 * 50, whatever that may be, I’m too tired to check. 350/8 is whatever, it’s a high B. Statistics, I’m not sure how I did. English, I fared okay considering I didn’t even read the play, so even though I’m not sure I got an A, I think I got a B. I’m pretty good at guessing.

I’m spending this weekend with Python and Facebook development, and maybe a little statistics work. I also have to catch up with my classics reading (I haven’t read ANYTHING except a little of Aeneid book 1 right now). I’ve been asleep in his classes too, because I’m never awake until about 7th period, at which point it’s a little late to be doing stuff.

My room is very clean right now. I’ve been on openSUSE for three days now, and it seems like this one’s a keeper. I’ve also been having fun with Cheese. I think I can honestly show my laptop to Mr. McCafferty and he’d be impressed at how similar Linux is to OSX. Though, he would never admit it. Linux is BETTER than OSX.
