Productive Sunday

Jess made delicious food today after I went grocery shopping with her. Andy was asleep most of the day minus a 4-5 hour tennis escapade, and Dylan was either working or sleeping later on (he is an early riser and sleeper, which is very healthy). So me and Jess cleaned the kitchen (I did the dishes, took out the trash, washed the vegetable drawer with a hose, cleaned up my room, did my laundry, and cleaned the dining table which is a feat in and of itself) and she made food (while I was cleaning the table and stuff), and we had a very excellent dinner. I had the rest of the veggie dumplings for lunch (and made some for Dylan because unfortunately the only other stuff we had prior to grocery shopping were hot pockets and costco bakes which are fatty and not fun to eat).

Grocery shopping was awesome: we got portabella mushrooms, baby carrots, lettuce, green bell peppers, mixed veggies, cheese, cold cuts (turkey and roast beef), cucumbers, frozen chicken, orange juice (we drink that stuff like no other), hmmm and some other miscellaneous items (dishwasher detergent, soy sauce). I walked out thanking God for vegetables. Iono, we actually ran out of veggies 3 days before, so I was either eating my share of fruit from the office or what sad supplies we had left at home (which was basically dried mangos and iono what). That, and on my subway sandwich yesterday (Cheesesteak – an American sandwich for Independence day, ya know) — I piled on cucumbers olives lettuce tomato pickles and peppers. Yep. Oh and from my smoothies: I had a pineapple mango orange fruit smoothie two days ago, and the day before that I had a strawberry manilow or something of the sort.

After dinner, I had a ferocious code session which culminated in my first svn commit.

A rite of passage for web developers! I feel so accomplished. Indinero.com now has a cashflow graph, thanks to yours truly. A week of work put to good use :) — tomorrow I start on a new project! Tomorrow is exactly 7 days for me. This is so exciting =]

I will sleep well tonight.

Haha well I had fruit from the office and in hardcore fruit smoothies! (the kind they blend and give to you with pulp and all) I also had like…lettuce but that barely counts.
