Silly Homework, Trix are for Kids.
I totally forgot we had a BUS120 group meeting today until Chris Liquin called me. But I ended up being pretty glad about it, because it doesn’t seem like they really did anything but discuss and look at the magazine-style layout we’re using? So my 10 minutes being there (yes I walked out into the rain to go sort of late) was basically spent glancing at that sheet, chillin’ for a bit, and then heading back to finish my part of the project.
My part took about an hour and a half. I found some really interesting reading on Turkey about small business growth and tech startups. It’s sort of cool how the government really supports that kind of thing in Turkey. Unfortunately most companies in Turkey are being built to flip instead of to add lasting value. Meh.
Speaking of foreign investments, a really cool guy I know, Roger Jin, contacted me about a startup idea. It sounds really interesting. Hopefully I’ll meet him in person sometime this week to discuss the idea or it’s going to bug me all break and I won’t be able to relax, haha. Work on OneChrist has really stagnated because of schoolwork…I didn’t go to work this week yet because of tests and schoolwork weighing down on me. Uhgh. I don’t really think next semester is going to be possible with a job and all.
I’m starting to feel like I don’t have a life either. I used to hang out with people a lot more but I’m finding myself locked in my room more often than not nowadays. It’s sad. I need to relax a little more.
Oh and Mac keyboards are bouncy. Sort of cool. I wish there were more industrial-looking macs. This whole sexy-curvy thing is not my style.
